Nissan Versa Upgrades

According to the AAA Newsroom, the average American spends 17,600 Minutes in their car each year! That’s over 12 full days. When you spend so much of your life in one place, it helps to have certain comforts met. I love to listen to music and podcasts and the stock speakers just weren’t doing it for me. Upgrading the sound system was therefore number one on my to-do list.

After the sound system upgrade, I discovered that my electrical system couldn’t handle the power draw at moderate volumes (infamous headlight flicker). I swapped out the stock 120 AMP Alternator with a high current 200 AMP Alternator and performed the “Big 3” upgrade. Voila! Problem solved!

Lastly, I added some interior RGB lighting for a nice feel during night-time driving. The lighting also conveniently switches to white while a door is open so you can easily see things in the dark.
